Mrs. Rivas holds a clinical license as a bicultural, bilingual social worker. She has over 13 years' experience within non-profits. She has experience with diverse populations such as LGBTQ+, individuals with problems with substance abuse, people who are victims of sexual abuse and violence within intimate relationships, etc. In 2019, Ms. Rivas is serving Erie's clients. Telehealth is currently offered in Behavioral Health. Ms. Rivas is part of the Behavioral Health Perinatal Team which focuses on postpartum and pregnant women, specializes in trauma-informed healthcare and provides an EMDR treatment for adults. She provides group and individual counseling sessions, a Medication Assist Therapy Program and referrals for specialty care, and Women's Support Group. Amanda is also a volunteer at Best Friends Animal Society. She helps homeless pets find new homes. She is dedicated in The Best Friends slogan "Save Them" and is working hard to turn Los Angeles into an animal-free city.
